The Process
We believe that in this world of fast fashion and obsession with trends, its sometimes good to slow things down and really appreciate the skill and effort that has gone into creating the clothes we wear, whilst knowing they have been produced in an ethical and right way. So we want to share with you the process that goes into creating a Fitz & Fro and the origins of the fabrics we use to make our shirts.
The Mills
All our products are designed in-house in London. Once we have the designs ready and flats drawn we hand select the materials from mills across Europe. These mills are regarded as some of the worlds finest, producing fabrics for many of the best-know fashion brands. The mills have a focus on sustainable fashion, whilst perfectly combining years of expertise with advancements in technology. The results are premium fabrics that are made to last - not just a one-season wonder.
The Factory
Once the fabrics have been produced, all our clothes are then constructed in a family run factory in the Portuguese hills just north of Porto. They employ highly skilled locals who work in a clean, comfortable and safe environment, being paid proper wages with normal working hours.
The finished products are then shipped to the UK and stored, ready to be shipped in eco-friendly card envelopes.
Every single person we work with along the way has the same outlook as us, no corners are cut, nothing to hide - full transparency.
